Frequently Asked Questions

I have two SIM cards and I can't select 2Greet to make calls

Some Android phones switch the User Interface to one with two SIM1 and SIM2 dial buttons when two SIM cards are inserted. In that mode no other phone account can be used to make calls or USSD.

This behavior is coded by the device manufacturer and cannot be changed by apps.

Can't make calls with cellular inactive even if WiFi is available

Some Android phones link the activation of phone accounts to the cellular registration even if they are unrelated.

This behavior is coded by the device manufacturer and cannot be changed by apps.

I can't control the phone call when making a call and selecting 2Greet for it

Some Android phones have a software bug causing the in-call user interface to not appear after using the account selection menu.

This bug affects only calls made from the phone. Calls received are unaffected.

As a workaround please let 2Greet be the default dialing account. Even if the call could not be made and falls back to cellular the User Interface is displayed correctly.

The 2Greet app dies unexpectedly

Each phone manufacturer adds battery and data usage optimizations that are not part of the base Android system.

Even if 2Greet sets itself as a phone application and consumes almost no battery and data it may be "optimized" away.

Please see our instructions for changing Android settings to disable optimizations for the 2Greet app.
